Petals Preserved uses the best chemicals and machinery to safeguard
your memories for generations to come. We use the latest methods
in freeze drying to maintain your flower’s shape, color and
lastingness. All water is removed from your flowers using a vacuum
method after the flowers have been frozen. We prevent shrinkage
by keeping the flowers at -20 degrees and color loss by using the
best chemicals offered for the Freeze Drying Industry.
Petals Preserved wants to make sure your flowers keep their shape
and color before the freeze drying process begins. Please follow
these steps to insure your flowers are preserved to the best of
our abilities.
All customers should make sure to not store flowers in a freezer.
It is very important that the flowers get a pre-treatment of specially
designed chemicals before they are frozen.
Brides:
Flowers can be placed in warm water until they are delivered to
Petals Preserved. If you are unable to place your bouquet in water,
please wrap stems with a wet cloth and cover the stems and cloth
with plastic wrap.
Sympathy:
Please choose the flowers you would like included in your display
from the funeral home or cemetery plot. It is important to not allow
these flowers to sit in the sun very long. Once you have chosen
your flowers, either place in warm water or cover with damp cloth
and wrap in plastic wrap.
Corsages and Boutonnieres:
Wrap stems in wet cloth and cover with plastic wrap. Deliver as
soon as possible.
Bouquets and Arrangements:
If you receive a flower arrangement that you would like to preserve,
please deliver no longer than 1 week after arrangement is received.
Trim ends of stems and keep in clean, warm water until the delivery
is made.
Petals preserved offers a flower pickup service. This service
is free up to 20 miles. A charge of $3 for each additional mile
is required.
